FINALLY! Scram 411 Mirror Extension Installation
The mirror placement and adjustability are my biggest gripe with the Royal Enfield Scram 411. I’m adding some mirror extensions to fix this annoying problem. They make a huge difference in visibility. The best $16 I've spent on my Scram 411 yet!

Install a Vent Wing Window on a Classic Car or Truck
Переглядів 135Місяць тому
Here's how I reinstalled the vent windows on my 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ. I am pretty sure that the process is similar for many cars and trucks with this unique vintage window feature. I love these vent windows! The installation of these quarter glass windows, wing window, wing vent window, or fly windows can be a bit of a challenge as it's a tight fit and you don't want to break the glass. Suppor...

Bad Thermostat? Easy Way To Tell IF It’s Stuck Open
Hi . Ive been trying to sort out wiring on my usa k5. The wiring was a mess ,you guys make it look so easy. I put a new left hand control , little did i know its got smaller guage wireing and bullet connectors. Diffrent colours nothing joins up.3months and $280 for a auto sparky who got everything working , but when i fitted headlight theres so much wireing in there i couldnt fit it suitably and most of his work came apart. Im very disappointed and angry .
Sorry but I have a 91 YJ and I can,t find the sender in on the basamnet you show in the clip, can you help me?
Brian my 350 f curbs are a total mess. I got them apart and cleaning them with combustion chamber cleaner. The ultrasonic cleaner looks like a good idea. Can i put the inner carb parts like screws, jets, n valves righ in the cleaner as well. My floats are the plastic type so maybe not them? Thanks for the vids, great help. Oh Brian what cleaner do you recommend buying for the cleaner?
Everything can go in the ultrasonic. No worries! I’ve tried all kinds of things. I’ve had good results with dish soap. But you can try various things. Carbs can be very tedious
@@KeepOnWrenching thanks Brian.
Thanks for saving me money! Great video!
I am at this point and Im skeert. Luckily, I have been doing electrical CAD for 35 years and can read a diagram.... just need to find the right one for my CB350 K1. 🙄
I believe in you.
Absolute garbage work. I would be so mad to inherit such a bike. Have a little pride in your work
🙏gonna go check my ignition for the numbers
You should check out easy chrome! There’s a video on here called “Easy Chrome Brush or Spray on Chrome” were a guy used it on several different items to check how good it was. I have to say it was astonishing! You could literally see the paint go from cloudy silver paint to a high gloss chrome as it dried.
I see alot of UA-cam videos showing them shaking the can while spraying the paint and that’s what the instructions said maybe try it again.
I need to try again for sure. Thanks for the tip
Friggin awesome!!! 😉🙃😎
Right? Pretty nuts.
Huge thx for this! But I’m not sure you were wrong with your first inclination- to leave that thin spacer washer outside the gasket. Looking at mine, it dawned on me that it might be there to protect the gasket from pressure points created by those 4 ninja star prongs…? Just curious if anyone knows? I didn’t think to observe how my old rotten one was situated but looking at it now, there aren’t any visible indentations from the prongs- which I would expect after 49 years:) Just a thought. Again, thanks, it’s a great help to watch your videos. Keep ‘em comin!!
It’s best to take the “star” out for sure.
"...in minutes..." A couple of days later...
It’s not that bad! Blame the clearcoat.lol
That definitely makes for a very good improvement until you can stumble onto another fender that’s in better condition later on
You don’t need to do that. There are caps that pop off, and there are others that have screws that you can take off. Clearly, this one can be pried off from underneath where the gasket sits.
I bought a tool just for the install of that retainer. For $15 no taping, and just turn it in W/ a socket. Tapping is a waste of time.
Too bad about the tank. Might be able to weld it up since thats a hidden area
I think the tank will be ok. The black wasn’t a hole. Just paint that looks new.
Citrus Strip is all sold out on Amazon. Brain what else would you use. Brain can I buy buffers for my mini grinder and use it for polishing ? Thanks for posting this.
Mini grinder/dremel would work for polishing if you can find heads. It’d take a lot more time. CS is at most hardware stores. You could always go the old school method with wet sanding in increments up to like 1200.
I know this video is old but on my side cover it dosent use those screws it has Alan heads?
Someone replaced them at some point. There are kits available.
Que porquería. Y te hubiera salido mucho más barato pidir un repuesto a Japón. 😂
Too bad you haven't followed up with any new videos on this bike.
It’s the next project on the channel now that the Jeep is done.
@@KeepOnWrenching Cool, thanks! Back in 1971 while in the Navy stationed in Kingsville Texas I purchased one of these bikes from a fellow sailor who was being shipped out. . It was my first motorcycle and I drove it all over South Texas.
i had a 1965 305 Dream all those years ago. Loved that bike.
I’ve got a Dream in my restoration pool. Looking forward to starting that one. Unique bikes!
Why is it Polish aluminium? What if it's Russian or Ukrainian aluminum?
I won’t work if the aluminum isn’t mined from regions in Poland.
@@KeepOnWrenching 😆
I purchased a full size tire removed the tire kit panel and full size tire , kit , jack and wrenches all fit . I also used the same screw and circular disc to keep tire in place . No need to buy kit , I only paid total $230 for tire and jack.
How much $$ did you pay?
Turned out to be so simple, but I had every single one of these worries as I was replacing the intake manifold on my 1970 CL 350. Thank you! Also, Can’t beat the common motor collective deluxe 350 bolt kit either. Those old screws were garbage.
Keep On Outsourcing! 😜
13:05 I can't stop laughing and replaying.... 🤣🤣🤣 Good stuff. Thanks again for this series. they are invaluable to me.
Lots of dudes polishing chrome these days. 1.4 m views.
Just for clarity that is the starter positive cable, you can see the solenoid is powered from the + side of the battery. The starter gets its ground through the frame.
Light use of a propane torch makes quick removal of bearings I've found.
exact same thing as harbor freight one, different name, just got mine for $200 with coupon
Sweet! You are always here for me. I'm removing the cable now though... But, I'll be back to watch again when installing. Hope you are still getting credit with the Amazon links cause I'm using them to buy stuff!
Try Revell chrome spray paint.
terrible video you talk to much
terrible video
terrible video , your a horrible speaker , you used to much primer , you should of painted the part black after primer , you don't clear coat chrome paint 🤡
Sigh, every chrome spray will turn out as silver when painted to thick. Think about it, why do you use a black gloss underneath? Because that's what is giving the shine but in order to do so the chrome needs to be layered very very thin which is hard with a rattle can which is why a painter would do this with an airbrush.
A spritz of silicone lube on the side cover grommet to ease first removal after decades of sitting? We do appreciate you taking the time and care to put this out. Thanks.
Glad I discovered you channel.
Me too!
Thank you thank you thank you. Some tape on the tank to prevent the hammer from doing damage.
I need to pull the front wheel on my 71 CL 350. Would a jack work? I notice the frame rails are not even with each other. Have any tricks for getting the front wheel off the ground ?
Steel wool and any lubricant would do...BUT...prior hitting it, start by cleaning with water soap and a soft cloth. All stuff you can wash out before is not going to scratch the remaining chrome...
Heh, I was trying to get the chainguard off to get the tool box off. You video's still working their magic. Thanks!!!
Please never delete this series’s you are helping the CB community so much bro. I can’t thank you enough for all your videos
No intention of deleting. So glad to be able to help get these classics back on the road!
Mine had a nut on the other side where the long bolt was. Very card to get too
Dude you could seriously do voice acting...Disney animated films, etc. ☺
I shall consider it!
The helmet..... 😂
You can never be too safe!
Squeaky!! 😲
For sure!
3 years later and this is still helping people. Thanks!
Thank you, Mary! Love how these videos keep helping people out every day.
